Hi, I havent been able to buy a Polar HRM yet but have been using the Nike + GPS app on my Iphone.... Has anyone compared the calories burned with the two to see how accurate the Nike + GPS is? Would appreciate any thoughts.

    They use the same algorithms.....so it depends on your input accuracy and the sensors' transmitting data consistently through your workout. Does the Nike have a chest-strap transmitter?

    I know the Polar has the ability to enter your VO2 max. I would assume the Nike does too.


    Why don't you do a side-by-side comparison of the two online, or go to Amazon and read the user reviews of both?
