Howdy!
CP, I so hear ya on the push ups! Why does it seem so much harder this time? I was wondering if I was even doing them before. lol. I have noticed it working different muscles too.

I managed to stay in my calories yesterday, even though I didn't get to finish working out. Today will be grocery shopping, so that will take a couple of hours probably. I need to get some cleaning done and that will be it. I am finding that I am not that hungry, usually just in the mornings. I am eating between 1260-1400 calories now (without exercise of course). I feel so much better physically and mentally when I keep track of what I am doing.

On a personal note I believe we are signing with an agency tonight (unless DH hesitates)! It is for Russian adoption! I could go into details but I will spare you. If you want to know details (which DH hasn't had time to post yet) you can look at our blog at russiatotexas.com

I hope all is well! I sure miss our MIA post-ers! Come back!
MM

I keep trying to talk my yoga teacher into having workshops. She might after she gets back from India. I'm hoping she'll be all excited and want to share.

Yesterday: yoga, bike, walk - the walk to the gym was too far to make sense (It's a mile one-way), unless I had a lot of time. Today, I plan on going to the gym and doing elliptical - it's been a long time since we spent time together. Also, yoga tonight.

    Come back Boogaloo!

    Morning, pebbles!

Today is spinning! I'm excited and a bit nervous. . .but spinning is a great "get back into the groove" cardio workout because it's so adjustable.

I was suffering a bit yesterday from bad food withdrawal. I find that after a few days to a week of clean eating, I don't want the junky food. But, after just one meal of junk. . .it tastes like more. Yesterday, my body kept asking for more of that fatty, salty sweet stuff. Unfair.

    Fresh fruit and vegetable boogaloo!

    Take care.:flowerforyou:

update: opted for a walk in the sunshine over spinning. Not quite the calorie burn, but a lot more Vitamin D.

    Hi all!

MM - that's exactly how I feel! Oh well. I am definitely going to stick with it, and it helps having you there with me.
Viv, that's what I did yesterday - took a nice long walk through the park and smelled the lilacs.

I am sorry to keep bragging to you guys, but I am still amazing myself. I figured if I could run a mile at 7mph in the middle of a 5 mile run the other day, I should be able to run just one mile even faster. So I really pushed myself to run my fastest mile today - and I finished in just under EIGHT MINUTES!!!!! :noway:

Seriously, I never ever never ever never ever would have thought that I could do this. The best mile I ever ran back in high school (when I was doing gym class every day in the summer and running a mile at the beginning and end of every class) was somewhere around 8:30. I just assumed that there were certain things that I wouldn't ever be capable of. Running 5 miles in a row, or running a mile in under 8 minutes - I would never have believed that I could do it.

Okay, I'll stop now. :blushing: I just had to share. :flowerforyou:
