Snack Ideas

I am not getting all my calories in for the day and I am trying to figure out some good snack ideas. I don't want to eat foods just to eat the calories but I need more! Any snack ideas that seem to work for people?

    I can't get through the day without a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack! It's supposed to help boost your metabolism too I'm told... But if you're looking for some stuff that will add good-for-you calories: you can get a number from nuts like almonds or walnuts -or even natural peanut butter on a slice of bread or with an apple. I bring a whey protein shakes with me to work, i just put the powder in a sports bottle and then can add 8oz of water whenever, its about 130 cals. Fruits like bananas and berries actually have more sugar and carbs than citrus fruits- so a cup of grapes or a larger banana will get you 100 cals. Yogurts or granola bars for a quick 100cals. i love baked lays and pretzels too but i'm not sure about any great dietary needs they supplement besides just being tasty. I usually have about 250 cals a day in just snacks...
