Feeling down..

Ohkay, So before I started the site I lost 12 lbs! I thought that was so good. I'm doing everything the same that I was before except now I'm writing it down in my log. I'm walking everynight with my friend for over 30 mins at a fast pace, even working up a sweat.. and I havn't lost a lb. I dont know what I am doing wrong?? Any advice?

    How long have you been doing the walking for? You body may just be getting used to it so you need to change things up, try adding in some running or do some exercise videos. Great job on the 12 lbs, and make sure you drink your water!!!

    I feel the same way! I have been walking 3 miles everyday and doing a 30 min video at night. I have been doing this for 3 weeks and lost 1 stinkin' pound (that im sure Ill find later). People keep telling me I must be building muscle and that weighs more, but Im not lifting weights or anything! On a positive note I feel better and thats important too!

    A lot of times on this site people post stuff about feeling bad about their weigh loss goal progress etc....I say enough! Be proud of what you have done so far and that your getting out there everyday to exercise. THen ask yourself...I am really following the calorie count and am I challenging myself when I exercise?

    It looks like you recently joined. I would give it time. I went through the same thing. I lost 11lbs. on my own and then joined and have only lost 2lbs. since. I am sticking to it. Although I don't see great results on the scale, I have lost inches, my clothes fit better and I know that I am more tone than I was 8 weeks ago. Don't get discouraged.
