So I logged my yard work and I also mowed. It was a riding mower though, does not have power steering so it is tough on the arms for sure. Should I count that? It's in the system and says I burnt 200 cals but seems like to much. Whatcha think? Dang I shoulda worn my HRM then I wouldn't have to worry LOL

TIA

If it is outside your normal routine log it. If you feel calories are high reduce. I worked outside and called it work outside.

I happened to wear my HRM today while mowing on a riding tractor. My heart rate did not change from a resting heart rate while on the mower. That means I burned no extra calories while doing this. I really think this falls into the catagory of normal daily activity and should not be considered as something to log. Now after doing that, I pushed around a spreader for 45 minutes putting down fertilizer. The HRM indicated elevated heart rate into the high 140s and over 500 calories burned. That I logged.
