Low Cal Protein Mocha/Latte! Way Better than Starbucks!!!
If you live in LA like me it's currently raining outside right now. I love going to Starbucks and getting their mochas but they are pretty expensive.
Ingredients:
8 fl oz.(1 cup) brewed coffee
1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp nonfat coffee creamer
4 tbsp whipped cream
Cinnamon to taste
Pour out ~1 cup of coffee. Mix in your creamer. Then add in most of the protein powder but save at least 1 teaspoon of it. Now add in the whipped cream on top. Sprinkle the 1sp of protein powder you have left on top of the whipped cream along with a ~1 tsp of cinnamon.
I used ON Double Rich Chocolate, Mocha Mix Non-Dairy Creamer, and Reddi Whip Whipped Cream.
The macros were 130 Cal 8c/12p/6f
If you want to lower the fat and most of the calories, you can use a lower fat or less whipped cream. For it to taste more chocolate-ey or increase protein use more protein powder. You can use vanilla whey if you want to make a great tasting vanilla latte.
