make protein shakes..buy a whey protein from walmart its about 15 dollars for a HUGE bottle..and then get a recipe from this website: www.dashingdish.com
she has AMAZING shakes, and it makes it taste like an ice cream shake but its not and its only about 200-300 calories and they fill you up! plus they get rid of a sweet tooth(:
  • If you like smoothies definitely try it with some greek yogurt. It's packed with protein and calcium.

Black-eyed peas with a bit of bulgar wheat has been a favorite of mine lately. Mix it with veggies and it's a great summer meal!
(**Note: If you get your protein from beans, always combine them with a grain source to get all your essential amino acids)

Whey protein is expensive and there really is no need for it if you can get protein from your diet, so try and start with the food. Regular old milk is a far less expensive option that will give you a good boost!

Quinoa (as far as I know the only non-meat substance that is a complete protein)
I also like fiber bars by Fiber One or FiberPlus!!! The FiberPlus Caramel coconut tastes like a Samoa!!!

I make my protein shakes with a scoop of protein powder, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk, and a T. of peanut butter. It has like 43 grams of protein!
