Is this water weight gain?

So I worked out a lot last night. Got on the scale today and I'm 2 pounds heavier. I ate little yesterday but drank a lot of water. Now I'm thinking whether I should cut donw on food today or eat the way I normaly do.

It's normal for weight to swing up or down a couple of pounds during the course of a day, Do not pass judgement on one number you see one day. What you are really looking for is an overall trend downward - it'll take weeks to start seeing the line move steadily southward. So be patient. Continue on the program and don't freak out over small swings. Look at the long trend.0
