The Lazy Man's Calorie Burn - Or, do extra chores count???

I'm not usually one to count "extra chores" as calories burned. However, I don't normally prune my palm trees as part of my "daily activity" and I had to do it with a hand saw (arrgh! the pain!).

I have no idea how many calories that burns but found this article:

What do you think? Should I count it, or not?

    For me, if I was hungry and had used up all my calories for the day I would log it and eat! If not, I would just let it be extra calories burned. =)

    Sure, that sounds like a fair bit of extra work so I would probably log it.
    Just make sure that your activity level (sedentary, lightly active etc) accurately reflects the regular things you do every day, then you can add (and eat!) the calories from extra exercise. As long as you are only counting them once, no problem!
