Just wondering if anyone adds these things to their smoothies instead of protien powder? I love both of these prodcuts, but having them alone with milk doesn't keep me full....what do you think?

I'd add protein powder.... Since that gives me more of what I need....

sugar is one of the main ingredients for both and breakfast essentials inly has 5 grams of protein.

you'd be better off using protein powder. i use designer whey. there's no sugar and i get 18 grams of protein per 100 calories serving.

I don't add either of those because there are too many words I can't pronounce. I add wheat germ, chia seeds or psyllium husks. It really is filling and all natural!

I have been hesitent about adding protien mix to my smoothies simply because I guess I have always believed it to make you "bulk up". I don't know if that is true, but I don't want to make it even more difficult to lose the weight I am trying to get off my body. Does it make you gain weight if you add it?

the only thing that makes you gain weight is eating more calories than you need. the only thing that makes you bulk up is lifting heavy heavy weights and eating way more calories than you need.

adding a scoop of protein powder will neither make you fat nor bulk you up.

Spinach spinach spinach spinach spinach spinach.

If you can find the variety that comes in frozen cubes (shake the box if you're unsure), they rock for convenience :) It'll keep ya full, doesn't taste like anything and is good for you.
