My first 5k

Hello,
Yesterday I completed my first 5k run. It was for Comic Relief Sport Relief and you could do 1mile, 3 or 6 miles. I opted for 3 miles.
I completed it in 33 minutes and 16 seconds (my PB is 37mins 30secs!), and struggled on the last 1.5 miles as the sun was beating down on me and I walked a few times. But the main thing is I did it, I felt great afterwards and I rasied £200 for charity.
I am not sure how to post pictures, so if someone tells me i will post one up of me with my medal.

Well done0

I did just the mile - at 16+ stone and with a heart murmur, I am starting gently and working myself up. Yesterday was my first race, my first run on something other than a treadmill, so I was quite pleased to finish without resorting to walking0
