I begin my weight loss journey at about 160 and im now down to 135 , i didnt do it in the best way possible and went very low calorie, following the cereal diet, having cereal for breakfast and for dinner then a normal lunch. since then i have been doing the 30 day shred each day and eating normally again, trying to reach at least 1000 calories per day compared to the 600 i previously ate.
Im nearly at the end of the month now and havent lost a single pound and im feeling very discouraged! I dont want to go back to the cereal diet but i really want to shift these last ten pounds! Im quite physcially fit so i dont know if maybe i should just be working out more? The 30 day shred is ideal for me because i dont have a lot of time in the day but perhaps its not enough?
Any help would be great!!!!!!!

What's the rush? 600 calories a day doesn't sound like a sustainable lifestyle for any adult. Neither does 1000. I am not going to weigh in on the "starvation mode" everyone bickers about, but at a certain point, your body with too few calories will "eat" its own muscles, including the heart.
Since Christmas I have changed the way I eat. I don't think of it as dieting, though. I have dropped 4 kilo and ideally would like to go down another two, but I know that if I restrict my calories and exercise more than I do now for that purpose, it will go right back on in a couple month's time.
I noticed that since January, I don't lose in a steady line, but in fits and bursts. I know people here have all sorts of theories and "solutions" for that - but I just figure that I am an organic creature not a math problem and ... there's no hurry to reach a weight because that only isn't going to be the "real" thing I am after.
You've made terrific progress on your weight - maybe you should shift focus and let the last ten come off in a healthy way? Your little girl deserves that
Sorry - that is probably not the help you wanted. This message will self-destruct as the advice floods in.0 -
I can't see your diary, and I don't know how tall you are, but 1000 calories per day does not seem like enough.0
