So what if you get sick?

If you are sick and not eating, how will this affect my MFP? I wouldn't be able to eat all my calories and such. Thanks...Just a thought.

Lol I was really unwell over the weekend and usually when I'm feeling really unwell I just tend to drink lemonade throughout the day. That with soup sometimes. It depends if I can handle eating or not, but I never worry about hitting my goals because I'm ill and if I'm not hungry there's nothing I can do about it. Plus I think alot of people find after they've recovered, they are soo hungry lol.0

Depends what you're sick with. Having a cold has never made me eat less. Stomach flu, definitely.0

For me, I would listen to my body and give it whatever it wanted, and log it dutifully. More often than not when ill we want comforting things like chicken soup, and that's not so bad! But hey, if you're sick and don't feel like eating, your body is probably telling you that for a reason! You can always add a note on the daily diary saying something like "sick so not eating" so that people don't think you're being unhealthy / not accounting for your food or whatnot.
I personally haven't been sick (touch wood!) since being on MFP - and I suspect my healthier, more balanced diet is more than responsible for that!0 -
I had cold/allergy/sinus issues earlier this month and actually stayed home from work for a day because of it. I'm not the type of person who takes a lot of sick days so you know it had to be an issue for me to even think about staying home. I grazed thru out the day (couldn't really taste anything other than the "hot" salsa) and drank lots of hot tea. I tried to log everything I ate and I know I probably didn't eat the healthiest either since I hadn't been to the store in a couple of weeks. But I got back on track as soon as I started feeling better.0
