I would like to know if there is any Pescetarian's on MFP.

Pescetarian is a lot like a vegetarian, except they will eat fish--no other meat.
I would like to try this lifestyle as seeing as I don't trust most name-brand meat as far as animal cruelty and hormone injections go. If I were to eat red meats, I would only buy farmer owned meat straight from the farm. (Free range chickens etc) But, seeing as this is expensive, I'd rather eat fish only.

Sorry if i sound scatterbrained. Thank you. :]

Edit: Also, if you are a pescetarian, please let me know how you maintain your lifestyle. :)

I'm pescetarian, and have been for over 10 years. For pretty much the same reasons you're thinking about it, plus I just don't much enjoy meat and didn't have any cravings for it at all once I omitted it from my diet.

I'll send you a friends request. Feel free to snoop at my diary :) x

I dabble in it. I was a veggitarian for many years. I swam for my college, so for protein while on the meal plan I started eating chicken and fish again (increase healthy options in the cafateria). As far as maintaining the lifestyle, it's relatively easy. You can pretty much do anything with fish that you could do with chicken or meat. Restuarants also almost always offer a fish option, but it might be more expensive than the chicken option. If you're committed, you make it work.
