day one of detox-so far so good

Well, I am on day one of the detox. It is going to be easy, I think???. The food is great. I have always been against detox. It seems like they are all fasting or eating tons of fruit and little to no food. This one is great. I am able to eat my calories with no problem.
I went to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and got all the weird stuff that is in the cookbook.
Today's menu
Breakfast-turkey sausage
snack-almonds
lunch-Asian salad
snack-almond
dinner-chicken casatorie with lots of peppers, mushroom and zucchini.
Tomorrow
Breakfast-Fruit soy smoothie with flax
snack-hummus with veggies
lunch-left over chicken casatorie snack-nuts
dinner-grilled chicken with guacamole and veggies.
The food is great, and it is forcing me to try new thinks. Lots of fresh herbs. No gluten's, dairy and eggs until week 5.
I will keep you all posted.
