Even though I've lost 56 pounds, I have to say, this weekend I honestly had my first NSV (aside from buying smaller clothes). Everyone keeps telling me I'm thin and don't need to lose more weight, blah blah blah, I still don't feel "thin" and want to lose another 10-15 pounds.

Anyway, this weekend we went to see Loni Love (love her!!) at Comedy Cellar in NY...we were at a table right up front. Loni, who is overweight and jokes about it in her act, singled me out as a skinny girl! She pointed at me and said something to the effect of "look at this skinny girl up here sitting with her legs crossed. If I crossed my legs like that I'd cut off my circulation!" It was the first time a non-family member has told me I was thin, and now, I actually sort of believe it :-)

(but, I still want to lose that 10 pounds!)

    This one is great! It's one thing to lose weight, but quite another to be known as THE skinny girl :)
