I really want to start doing weight training as I've heard so much about how good it is for your body lately, but I'm a complete beginner! I have no idea where to start. I'm 5'1, 140lbs and 19 years old. I'm not sure how much is heavy enough for me to be lifting, don't know what type of weights to buy or what exercises to do, anything haha! Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

I absolutely 100% recommend Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It eases you into the exercises, but delivers amazing results
You can just use small hand weights, and at only 20 minutes per workout, you can't go wrong

New Rules of Lifting for Women. It's actually a pretty good read, and it explains all the exercises really well. Great place to get started!0
