Hi everyone,

I used to struggle with a lot of disordered eating/habits, but I've been in recovery for several years and have finally started to lose weight in a normal/healthy way! I am currently overweight (154lbs at 5'6), which is down from my all time high of 180 two years ago. My goal is 130, but I will take it as slowly as I need to. My biggest fear is relapsing, so I'd like to surround myself with healthy attitudes if at all possible!

About myself - I'm in my early/mid twenties, currently working as a biomedical researcher. My preferred method of exercise is cardio, either running or cycling, but I'm hoping to add some strength training to my regimen soon (I have carpal, cubital, and radial tunnel syndromes which makes it difficult, but it's getting better!). I am also a former competitive swimmer, and hope to get back in the pool soon as well. I'd love to make some friends on here, and my diary is public so any comments/suggestions are welcome! :-)
