I broke my foot

I broke my foot on Friday. I need ideas for exercises please.
What about calories? I am a 57 year old woman, 5'3" and 250 pounds.
I don't know yet if my foot needs a pin or not. I see an orthopedic tomorrow morning.
My weight loss has been slow, started out fast, but slowed down. I posted before about this,and got some fantastic ideas. Turns out I wasn't eating enough for as much as I was exercising. (1200 calories, but was burning between 6 and 700 a day).
