Before I started on here last March (2011) it had been 3 or 4 years since I had run and even then it was no more than 2 miles on the dreadmill going slow slow slow. this was 4+ miles with 15+ obstacles. I'm feeling pretty good and thinking I'll do the competitive next year instead of the open and see if I can place. My time would have scored me 2nd place in this years females competitive earning me a free spot in a super if I wanted to go.

Final results: 28:54/mile, 1:29:47 time, 6/205 females 30-34 (3%), 27/1018 total females (3%), 507/3397 total racers (15%). But this is just including Saturday.

It kills me that I could've done better, but I feel great with what I did. It was the second obstacle race I ran. I clearly need to work on my pull ups and confidence. The only mistake I really made was letting someone else pace me for any period of time.
