Hello! I'm Jesslyn and I'm here to lose 20 to 40 pounds! It's tough since my husband and most family members eats really unhealthy. No one wants to change their eating habits but I do! The only support I get is from my mom and that's what's kept me going. I'm 19 and currently weigh 174 . Six pounds less then the 180ish I weighed 3 weeks ago. I want to lose weight but I also want to change my lifestyle into a healthy one. I am hoping to get support from this wonderful community to help me stay on track.

Hi! I am also new to the community as of today. My name is Jill, am 48 and hail from Wisconsin. I try to eat well and exercise 3-4 days a week pretty faithfully. Unfortunately, as I get older, the weight is much more stubborn and refuses to budge. *sigh*
I need to lose a minimum of 20 pounds, and have heard very good things about My Fitness Pal. I like the tracking option so far. I looked for Zumba as an activity though, and it's not listed. I'm wondering if using a General Aerobics would suffice for tracking purposes? I know that the most accurate reading would be for me to use a HRM, which I actually have, but haven't used yet.
Looking forward to this new journey.
