As I was going through my wallet and consolidating the multitudes of things I have in there, I came across a few gift cards. They had a zero balance, so I threw them away. Then it hit me... Some people reload gift cards. I don't understand why they do this. Can't they just use their Debit card? Or is there more to this that I am not seeing? I just don't understand the point of reloading a gift card for a specific place such as Wawa, or Starbucks...?
