Hi everyone. I am trying to lose about 10 post pregnancy pounds..I was excited because I lost quite a bit but then gained 2lbs back in a very short period of time...my problem is not the exercising or the drinking lots of water thing..it's the food..I love junk, I love chocolate, chips, cooking things with oil etc...any help with cutting back the cravings or stopping me to eat so much junk? I have trouble with moderation lol..

Get it out of your house. If it's not there, you can't eat it. I have to do that with cookies. It's an awful lot of effort to drive to the store for a cookie so I don't eat them. Olive oil is good in moderation so use that so is canola oil. Just don't do the "glug glug" from the bottle thing.0

I didn't realize how much of a sugar addict I was and what it did to me until I decide to give it up for a while (thinking just one week). Well, its been two weeks and I think I don't want to go back. The hardest was the first couple of days until it worked out of my system but now I feel great, better than before. I'm not hungry all the time and I don't feel like I'm bloated all the time. I have increased my protein intake and also got away from all the fat free food I was eating. Smaller portions of the really stuff fills me better than a ton of the fat free.
Just get the stuff out of your house so you can't have it and think short term (one week) then go from there. Maybe you'll get the same result I did.0 -
Thanks everyone...I haven't bought chips/cookies/ice cream etc for a while but my trickiest thing is now that that stuff isn't in the house, I'm starting to bake which is not good! I'll bake cookies for my husband & I, and I will eat most of them...however, I am trying not to bake and currently do not have butter in the house lol which makes it easier NOT to bake...the other tricky part for me is when we have friends over for appies or when we go out for dinner with friends or something like that...but I am trying - like I said, I lost some weight because I was cutting back on a lot of stuff but then gained a couple lbs because I over ate on the junk after..thank you for all the tips!0
