or meals? I tried the Gorton's Shrimp scampi but thought it would taste better if homemade...
Do you buy cooked or uncooked?

I always buy frozen raw (make sure they are shell-less). You can just thaw them in cool water and toss them with lemon, garlic, salt, pepper and a tiny bit of olive oil. Then just marinate for 10 mins or so and throw in a pan an cook. I also make them with soy sauce, garlic, ginger and a dash of olive oil. Add some asian veggies to the pan and serve them over brown rice. Yummy....now i'm hungry.

I love to buy large, uncooked, peeled and deveined shrimp.

I thaw them in cool water and then I use them in different sauces

I try to make homemade, but there are some decent jarred sauces.

    My favs are:

Lowfat Alfredo-I dont use the reccommended serving to lighten it up a bit more
Puttanesca-with this I add a bit of pepperflake to punch it up a bit
    Homemade marinara

Whole Wheat pasta and shrimp. I cook the pasta and in the last 5 minutes I throw in the shrimp and sometimes a veggie like broccoli

I also love to throw them in a salad. Mixed greens with, sundried tomatoes, onion, carrots.

There are so many ways to use shrimp...........they are my fav!

this isn't a scampi recipe, but def. my fav shrimp recipe...

start some penne boiling, and when it is almost done,
saute the shrimp in a bit of olive oil
add your favorite spaghetti sauce, like a full jar
stir in three big blops of 0% fage, or reduced fat sour cream
drain the penne, and toss it in the creamy spaghetti sauce.

    ENJOY! MMMMMMMMMMM

I see sauces that look like this in the store, they call them vodka sauce, I can't imagine why/??

Way too easy, but never disappoints:

raw shrimp from sea food counter

    boil until just pink

dip generously in cocktail sauce with extra horseradish

tossed side salad (for those all important veggies)

    ENJOY!!

I make "pasta" by cutting zucchini and summer squash into "noodles" (can make them with a veggie peeler or mandoline for consistency or just hand slice very thin). I roast in oven after tossing in some EVOO, dijon, honey and balsamic for five minutes. Add cooked shrimp thawed (not my first choice) or roast shrimp in oven on seperate baking sheet and toss all together.

    WOW Sara that sounds delicious!

I went to a vegan restaurant, and they made their "pasta" out of zucchini too, it was AMAZING!

I'm not vegan, but I would DEFINITELY! go back again!
