Hi All. Glad I found MFP. Seems like a friendly bunch of folks. Trying to lose the 50 pounds I've gained over the past 6 years. Have lost about 9 pounds so far. Wish me luck.

    Thanks Pholbert ... have the determination down now. It's taken 2 years to be in the right mind-set and work myself into some good habits resulting in my 10 pound loss so far and also to not be dealing with anything medically life altering (living with a chronic, so far not terminal, illness. Just have the need now for no 'out-of-my-control' medical issues to interfere with my efforts.
