Strained Muscle in my Leg...HELP!!

So I strained a muscle in the upper part of my leg and putting weight on it is painful...my leg literally feels like it is going to give out. The pain starts at the top towards my pelvic bone, not sure if it is the groin muscle or not. The issue is that I am really bummed that I cannot run or walk for at least a week and I need suggestions on other ways to really burn calories!! I am used to burning at least 500/day!

Please help!!!
