ok I've done so good all week....watching my diet, exercising my booty off...and I get on the scales this morning and I have GAINED a pound and a half? WTF? That's extremely discouraging....My husband is all..."well you know muscle weighs more than fat"....BLAH! I don't want to hear that right now..I wanted to see a lower number on that scale...However, I will say I do feel stronger...and I have been sleeping well, I normally have to take something to help me sleep...so thats a plus. I just have to work harder I guess...I'm just bummed out right now :sad:

Have you been taking your measurements? You might see a difference there, especially if you are gaining muscle.
Also, did you weigh yourself in the exact same outfit etc? Did you have a high sodim day in the last couple of days - if so you could be retaining water. Is it your time of the month? That can seriously affect the scale!

Yeah, that pretty much happened with me too, except that I didn't gain...my scale just hasn't gone down in 3 weeks!! I'm so frustrated right now. I did lose a couple of inches, but I don't understand what is going on with my body at all!0

I know EXACTLY how you feel. This happens to me often. But I don't know if you necessarily need to work harder. Maybe you just need to keep on doing what you are doing. Our bodies take breaks and readjustment periods. Just the exercise alone should be enough to move the scale in the right direction. If you stall out for 3-4 weeks in a row (or gain :noway: ), then I'd look again at what you are doing and see if some changes are needed.

I didn't take my measurement...and I'm about a week away from my period, maybe thats it...I weigh myself naked...LOL...I feel like I look a little better, but the scales just didn't show it. The only thing I can think of is that I have been struggling getting all my 1200 calories in. Its harder than I thought...easy if I want to eat junk or something, but hard when you have to keep it healthy. So maybe I'm not eating the right stuff..and I'll have to keep and eye on my sodium intake. i have been eating frozen entrees for lunch...thanks you guys for picking me up...:flowerforyou:0
