Eating at night

Ok tell me how you have beat this habit and don't tell me to knit or take up some other crafty thing. My days usually end around 8 at night and then I find my stomach start to growl and that's it my brain starts thinking about what I can eat.
I have taken all tempting food out of my house but still I find something to munch on.
Please tell me what has worked for you? This is where I am struggling the most everything else I feel really good about but eating at night is destroying my weight lose and this is just a new habit I've picked up in the last year!

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I do eat later at night and have been successful with that. I don't eat big meals and stay within my calorie goal and always save some calories for a dessert or treat of some kind in the evening.0

if you are hungry eat. just allot some calories for later in the evening. dont eat so much during the day.0

Ugh. I have this problem too. What seems to work for me is to eat low-cal filling foods. I will eat leftovers veggies from dinner or at worst split a micoeave bag of popcorn with my wife. Also if I brush my teeth and do all my nighttime prep shortly after dinner I will usually bypass eating so I don't have to brush my teeth again. Make laziness work for you0

Save calories for nighttime by eating less calories during the day. Then, eat at night.

I save myself some calories for night too. It saves my sanity when I know I've got enough for some fruit/toast/yoghurt/whatever I fancy.0

If I'm really hungry and have few calories left I will have a 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn (kettle corn flavored). Takes a while to eat, and satisfies both my craving for crunchy and sweet.0

I am the same way so I allow for 3cups air popped popcorn at night it is only 60 cal with butter and I use little to no salt the butter is even unsalted. This is what helps me but I say if you have the calories to eat then eat0

but This!!!
I go to bed every night with a glass of 1% Chocolate milk, 30 Almonds and 3/4 cup of Crave Double Chocolate cereal (which I eat dry with my Almonds). It comes out to be 550 calories and I fit it into my daily calorie deficit so its all good...0 -
I prefer to do most of my eating at night. I typically eat 600-700 calories between 5 am and 6:30 pm. I then proceed to eat 2000 calories (give or take) between 6:30 pm and 10 pm. I am often chewing my last bite of food on my way to bed! I prefer going to bed full.
Eat whenever you want!

If you're always hungry before bed, eat something! Peanut butter toast should do the trick. Or just peanut butter0
