We have quite a few here who are brand new to MFP. Welcome! This place, and long term challenges, are what made the difference for me to be able to lose weight. For me, it really has helped to have somewhere to be accountable every day and every week.
We will not be creating a group for this challenge. It is going to stay thread based. That thread is right here where you are reading this post. :-)
The day for everyone to post their start weight is April 9th (or a day or two before). That is the start date of our challenge. The end of our first week will be April 16th. Up 'til our start date, I've only needed the amount you want to lose, over our 12 week challenge, so that I can put you into groups. for example... Lose up to 12 lbs, 13 - 17 lbs, etc. I'm not using any of your other numbers until you post them on the 9th.
On April 9th, you will post this (filled in with everything through 04/09 and maybe goals):

You will post it here, to this thread. On April 16th, you will post the exact same thing but with your 04/16 number added. Etc, etc... What I personally do is keep the format in a notepad doc, add to it every week, and copy and paste it into the thread. Easy! :-) I will take our numbers, every week, and post the updated chart every Monday evening at the thread. To give you an example of how it will look, here is the challenge I'm currently hosting. JazzyMarie - I honestly don't know. There are so many variables to losing. I do know that you CAN lose weight and have GREAT support here and I think it's great that you've challenged yourself!0 -

Kristen, Thanks for hosting this next challenge. The new chart is so cute! I get my new recumbent exercise bike next Saturday, so that will make this challenge a little easier, I hope! Good luck to everyone!
