Chicken Legs? Really

Okay, I just did a search and I found that chicken legs have up to 212 calories per leg? Really? I've seen calories from 212 to 89 calories...both with bone and skin removed.

Does anyone actually have a good number for this? I guess from now on I should weigh just the meat prior to consuming?

I hate chicken, if this is true, I'll eat steak instead.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The only way you can get an accurate calorie measure is to take all the meat off the leg bone and weigh it. I think you will find it is significantly lower than 212 (unless it is a Titan sized chicken lol)

Yeah I take it off the bone, weight it and log it as dark chicken meat, otherwise it could be any amount since chickens are different sizes.

    Thanks, I agree.

Should of, could of...would of. Well, I logged it high just in case.

    Thanks for your input!
