I am always tired! I always try to get at least 7-8hours of sleep a night. I know that as overweight and out of shape I am that it will have an affect on my energy level, but my question is this with my calorie that MFP gives is about 1200, it was around 1360 prior. Do you think my lack calories are adding to my lack of energy? I take a multivitamin, and all my labs have come back normal. I have a doctor appt in a couple of weeks to discuss the lack of energy, but until then do any you guys have a suggestion on what I can do to help increase my energy level?

I know I went through a really tired time when I first started exercising. I increased my iron for a week on top of a daily multivitamin. Hopefully the Doctor can get you sorted out and better soon. :flowerforyou:

I posted a similar topic on here a while back, when I was on 1200 calories. I was told to eat my BMR calories, which I guess is your basic body caloric "needs" to get out of bed and go about your day. Mine is 1600/ day. There are tons of BMR calculators out there if you google it. Wish I knew the exact one I used.
I have felt a *lot* better since upping mine. Don't know about weight loss yet, though, I will let you know. :)
