Ok....so im really nervous about adjusting my settings for my activity. I bought a pedometer at the beginning of march...as i am tracking i am usually borderline with sedetary and lightly active...as i started to work out i have been pretty consistant with crossing that slightly active line (over 5000 steps...usually dont make it to 6000 though....so i am really nervous about changing my settings.....i reached my goal weight in february (my goal was 2lbs a week so i was eating 1200 calories and losing pretty steady-didnt really workout at all) then i really slacked off and gained 3-4lbs back (changed my callories to mantain)..got back on track and then really started to try to work out everyday (which only consists of a 8 minute workout from on demand by dave sinclair and a 10 minute brisk walk...with the occassional jogging involved) (also adjusted my calories to lose
1/2lb a week)but none the less i have been pretty consitant doing it every day...which does make me feel pretty good. But in the same breath i am pretty upset that i have actually gained 2 more lbs as of this morning...could come off again because my weight does fluctuate pretty often....but i cannot seem to get back down to my goal weight....so i am afraid to adjust my calories up again...i feel it is just going to make me gain even more weight....i know everyone says you have to eat to lose and i understand that but then why was l losing more easily when i was eating 1200 calories a day and not working out?! Now i eat somewhere around1320-1400 calories and workout and im gaining? I am trying accuratly input all my info and follow mfp suggestions but something doesnt seem right and i dont know what do do?? HELP!!!

bump...im really hoping to get some help on this...right now my setting are set to lose 1/2 lb a wk....like i said and my fitness is set at sedetary...so what i am nervous about is if it move it up to lightly active it will increase my calorie intake again...so will i then gain weight or am i gaining weight because my body is storing (from "starvation mode"-i know that is a contraversal topic if it exsists) ...or do you think i am gaining muscle (but i am really only doing cardio...not so much weights-really nothing (2lb weights during some of the curcuit training) i know its a little confusing (the way i typed it) but thats why i need some opinions because i am completely lost and i dont want to keep gaining weight
please help
