how do you convince yourself to switch to maintenance?

I had a vague goal when I started tracking my food. And I met it. On the way there, I discovered how to eat smaller portions and less carbs while still remaining full and satisfied. Now, I keep losing weight - sorta quickly - but have no actual goal left. It's left me in a sort of odd situation.
My question for those eating maintenance calories, how did you convince yourself it was time to make the switch? Do I just need a really concrete goal again or something?
I really don't miss any foods that I used to eat. And I honestly feel like I cannot eat more daily than I do already except when I go out to eat at restaurants - probably because I'm used to cleaning my smaller-portioned plates now.

I'm also interested in hearing on this from those who've made the conversion. Obviously at some point you can just eat more but any insight beyond that would be appreciated.0
