I'll show you mine if you show me yours...playlist, I mean!

I'm one of those people that can't get moving unless I have some really good beats to keep me going. I know I shouldn't rely on it so much, but on days where my MP3 player is dead, I can't get as much of a workout in as I could have if I had music with me....

I'm always looking for more songs to add to my list, what gets you really digging deep and going that extra minute/mile, etc!?

P.S. Sorry if this has been done already...I couldn't find anything like this a couple threads back and I couldn't find a search function to see if it had been done already....but for us new peeps, humour us and share? :)

There's nothing wrong with needing music as long as it gets your butt in gear! I recently started running & I NEEEED music, otherwise my feet don't work.

I have a ton of Offspring & Big & Rich () on my mp3 right now. It makes the run go smoother.

How about a little "Eye of the Tiger"? I know, cheesy, but totally classic! I'm also a big fan of The Beastie Boys, "Sabotage" gets me going for sure.

My favorite one at the moment is Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow, I walk during the slow part of the song and sprint during the fast part.

Also most Nickleback songs, Pink songs and Kelly Clarkson.
I love songs that talk about a skinny but curvy sexy girl, makes me wanna be that girl, know what I mean ?

I like a wide variety of music genres on my mp3 too...sometimes I can't work out as hard to Beyonce, but I can really get into an angry, metal song...and vice versa...it usually depends on how I'm feeling while I'm working out!!

Thanks everyone for posting your playlists, I'll definitely be adding to mine tonight!!!

    w00t!

My old man doesn't listen to his LP's anymore, so he gave them to me. Got some great albums in there. Lots of Johnnie Cash, Elvis, Eagles (yuck), Willie, and some bluegrass I've never heard of.

I'll bet I have over 300 LP's. I have some great ones and some not so great ones and some kinda dorky ones too. I have a few Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Styx, Bobby Vinton, Everly Brothers, Billy Joel's Glass Houses, Boston, I even have the Saturday Night Fever and Urban Cowboy sound tracks (those would be the dorky ones but I love them).
