updating *your* recipes

I have a list of recipes that I make, but of course, I don't make it to the exact same specifications as when I put the entry in. Like tonight's crock pot lasagna. This one didn't have mushrooms, bacon or jar sauce like the entry has. Tonight I used less meat, less onion, carrot and used a can of tomato soup.
Should I leave the entry as is, coz that is *about* how I do it every time, or should I be making a NEW entry, weighing up every thing all over again?

i just edit them instead of creating new ones.. its much easier on my phone that the computer though..
on the computer you have to delete and item and then research for it (if using more/less) - on the app you can just select it and edit the serving size.0 -

I only have the computer. Sounds like a lot of mucking around just for the sake of 50cals -/+ though perhaps I should check to make sure.
ETA - it changed the entry by 4cals.0
