Want to help my friend

Hi Everyone,
I have a friend who says she wants to lose weight. I haev tried to be encouraging and she has seen that myfitnesspal has worked for me so is going to give it a go. However, I think that her boyfriend is holding her back sometimes. She will eat well all day, do a little exercise but then in the evening he will offer her a take away or snacks and she doesn't have the will power yet to say no. Perhaps she just doesn't have the inclination?
I have told her we have to make an exercise pact - we have to do some sort of exercise everyday, we live and work about 100 mile away from each other so I can't MAKE her go but thought, from a distance this might work.
Is there anything I can do about the unsupportive boyfriend? I don't really know him so can't relly approach him to say 'give her a break - be supportive!'
Any ideas? Or do I let her get on with it?
Thanks everyone!

let her deal with him. an encouraging word or talking to her about it might help, but dont push her. getting involved in another person's relationship like that could end badly.
the exercise pact is a great idea, can be very encouraging to know someone else is doing the same thing even if it is far away0 -
You can lead a person to food but you can't make her eat. It is all on your friend to refuse food wherever she is. Her boyfriend, take out restaurants, etcetera. He may not be supportive but he is not the one wanting to lose weight. She is. He will not be the last one with food around to tempt her. Get her on here and we will do our best to support her. You have taken the first step for her, now she has to take it for herself.0
