Any Bowlers?

I bowl once a week in a league and I'm pretty active doing it. I don't sit down much, and I am a very physical bowler. (averaging 216) I'm there for a total of 2.5 hours during my league, but as far as logging this down as an activity, I can't exacly put down 2.5 hours.. That'd be like burning 600+ calories... I don't think I'm burning that many, so I've been logging down 90 minutes for my league night. It comes to 400-450 or so. Is this still high, for bowling? Any thoughts? Similar stories?

I bowl in two leagues and I also bowl on a tournament team, but I have no idea what would be considered accurate for calorie burn since the higher you score, you generally burn fewer calories.

when I bowl I don't count it as exercise, with all the old guys on the league I bowl there is a lot of wait time.

I tracked mine for the last 9 months, and it was barely 300. I guess some depends on the format you bowl. For doubles, it'll be higher than for 4s.

I'd say it's safe to assume about 200-300. We bowl pretty quick for a team league. I throw it fast too. When I'm done, I'm a little worn out too. That means I did something!
