What is your motivation?

I'm having so much trouble staying motivated!!! I do great for 3 days then have a bad couple days then start over and my results and confidence are suffering. What techniques do you use to keep your motivation up? I need help!!! I have long term goals for motivation but need help with staying on track day to day...

I have to lay down a long term goal and then lay down the smaller steps to achieve it in order to stay focused. I am currently in a 16 week training program for a couple of upcoming Warrior Dashes, and being in top shape for those Dashes keeps me hitting it every day. I have a calendar, and I break down what I need to do each day, or each week, to attain my goal. I personally have to have a line in the sand, a drop dead date, to keep me going.0
