Shouldn't not having hairy armpits be motivation enough?

LMAO...Agreed0 -
Bodybuilders don't like body hair, just like cyclists don't like leg hair. Its in the subculture. Try to assimilate into your peer group like a good girl.
I've never really been good at conforming... or being a good girl.
Damn. I was hoping I could talk you into writing some bad checks.0 -
Have you considered hiring a pool boy to shave for you?
lol!0 -
Laser is great. Instead of shaving everyday, it is once a week
I got laser done on my underarms! Only had to have 9 treatments, and now I never have to shave, wax, laser, anything again! I LOVE it!! (Although it hurt like a *kitten* and cost me a fortune).
Aside from that, I get a brazilian every 4 weeks and shave my legs every other day. BODY HAIR BE GONE.
Btw--I think the OP was making a joke about her manly muscles getting in the way
LOL.I'm gonna be friendsing you. PS How much is a fortune for laser? I'm actually really fully contemplating looking for a groupon in my area now for the arm pits at least, I have a high tolerance for pain.
It depends on where you go. Some places say that they are "permanent" and they're only kinda permanent. The place I went is one of the top laser places in the country, Ideal Image, all their laser technicians are nurses and medical professionals, and I think the total for my underarms was about $1200---and I got in on a special. I was able to break it down into monthly payments though. My best friend got it done somewhere in Dallas on a Groupon and hers was only $500 so it just depends on the place. I LOVE the results!0 -
I was thinking about going laser... but I thought it was permanent? You have to go once a week?
Laser hair removal is permanent. You can only be treated once every 6-8 weeks, and it takes about 8 treatments for the area to be completely hair-free. Just had my second treatment last night. It will be Christmas before I am done, but soooo worth it if I don't have that dark shadow on my pits. Even when I shave, mine are not completely "clean".
I see. Thank you. Def going to look into it, I'm so sick of waxing/shaving.0 -

Ding, ding, ding, WINNER!
Seriously, though, my hubby does the full body shave for triathlons. Talk about culture/peer group pressure! You gotta think it would have been better to ask me how to do it before he tried it the first time, but noooo...you should have SEEN his legs the very first time he tried shaving them. :noway: We finally made a shower activity out of it, rather than me having to witness the carnage. :blushing: TMI, I know...but it's something to consider. :drinker:
And Nair on the junk, yes. Wax. No. As in h@ll no! He made the wax mistake one time...I was cleaning it off the shower handle for an eternity, and even the mention of it makes him shudder. ETA: the wax wasn't for his junk, he thought it would be easier for his back. He was practically crying in pain.0 -
Grow it! Some Euro guy will love you for it! As for this guy I like my woman's pits shaved!0

Hmmm... I didn't think you could use nair down there - but he's a guy. Have any women used Nair there? (externally, of course)0
