Ready for a change!!

Hello all --- I've been overweight my whole life, never wore a bikini and now I’m ready to make a change.
I'm 25 years old and I weight 172lbs. I'm getting married in 2 years and my goal is to lose fat and build muscle, but I don’t know how and where to even start. I'm not really concern with what my scale says, I just want a toned body, a body that I feel comfortable with.
I work an 8-5 job and my excuse for not working out is that I have no time! --- That is just an excuse, truth is… it's easier to sit on the couch after work then hitting the gym! I'm completely clueless on weight training, The weight room is intimidating lol so If I make it to the gym is usually just for a Zumba class ..

I’ll take any advise on weight training and cardio schedule .. I'm ready to work my butt off but I need to be on a schedule and stay motivated!! -- Something that is very hard for me to do! ---
