Calorie balancing act?

Sooo, I went over on my calories yesterday, which I normally am very careful about, but my friends talked me into a couple cocktails. :ohwell:

Anyway, my question is should I try to compensate the next couple days by limiting my calories more drastically? Or is it more like what's done is done, and try to stick to the regular program?

Anyone have a system that works in this situation or advice?

Don't worry about it, it happens. Just start over today and make sure that you don't let it happen to often but it won't ruin everything. If you are still worried you can always kick up your workout!

I wouldn't worry about making up for it. Just start over today... it's bound to happen sometimes!

I have been wondering about this same thing. If I am within my total calorie limit for the entire week but I go over or under a few days will it make a difference?

ummmmmmmm it depends how far over or under. if we're talking 100 or so calories then ya, you should still be fine.

did you go over maintenance calories? If you didn't, forget it, don't even think about it again.
