Hi Peeps, I need help on the weekends, I do good all week, drinking my water, staying under caloric intake, but I loose control on weekends. Not that I eat uncontrollable, but I'm so busy trying to crame what would normally take 5 days to do, into two days, I don't get my fluids in and don't get the food in and of course on Monday morning when I weigh myself, I have defeated all my hard work all week and am back where I started again. Any advice

I recommend setting out a weekend diet plan. Prep your foods ahead of time and take them with you. Also, get used to carrying a water bottle around with you.
I understand where you are coming from though. Weekends are my weak point too. It's mainly because I'm out and about and don't have time to sort through good food. It is possible though. It just takes planning ahead.0 -
weekends are tough!
I plan and log my eating for the day first thing in the morning, so I know exactly where I stand calorie wise. If I really want that snack and I didn't plan for it, I already know if I can afford the calories or not...no surprises that way:)
Good Luck!0 -
I am 100% with you!! I do soooo good all week long, and even with vigorous workouts on the weekends..... I find myself VERY disapointed every Monday. After I put my daughter to bed on weekend nights it is like a battle within myself not to start munching on stuff, and AS SOON as I start, I CANNOT stop! I will follow this post and am right there with you girl......looking far any/all advice!0

Hi. I know the feeling. My hubby is home on the weekends and we have a tendency to go over board. To get your fluids I would recommend carrying a water bottle with you to ensure that you have it to drink from and don't stop and buy soda, etc. I keep a couple in an insulted lunch bag and take it with me so that I can have something to drink all the time.
I agree that you should plan out weekend meals and maybe pre-cook them if you can. Packing them and carrying them with you while you are running errands would help keep you from over eating (as the meals are already sized out) and from buying fast food, etc. You could also make picnic lunches and stop at a park to eat and then walk around to get some exercise. Hope this helps!0
