    I agree that if you attribute it to water weight when the scale goes up, then there is also water weight when the scale goes down. I think that our initial weight loss does include a lot of water, but as you continue then the real pounds start to come off. It's good motivation in the beginning and keeps you going and then the NSV's kick in, so unless your clothes feel tighter, don't worry about it.

    I do love my swimming, although sometimes the pool I go to makes me feel like I'm in the movie cocoon. I am about 40 years younger than anyone else in the pool.
