to stay within your calorie limit for the day or have your ratios (fat, carbs, protein, etc) within the limits? I am finding that I usually am over on my protein and under in other areas. I haven't lost any weight over the last two weeks and have pretty much stayed within my calorie limit but haven't focused so much on the other ratios. I am wondering if this is one reason I may not be losing.

I don't pay any attention to my ratios, and I've been consistently losing weight. A lot of people get hung up on those numbers, but I figure that I eat a very varied diet, and it will all balance out over time. If you are over on your protein (this seems to be a common thing) don't sweat it, as long as it comes from lean sources. If you are over on your carbs, it's no big deal as long as your carbs are coming from good sources like fruits, veggies and whole grains. And if you are over on your fats, if it's from healthy fats like olive oil, avocado or fatty fish, you're fine there too.

What limits are you using? And are you exercising at all?

Take a look at what you're eating

    Is it all nutritious?

    Are there empty calories?

    Are you getting enough exercise?

    These are all great responses....

The main thing to watch though other then calories would be carbs, and more important sugar intake. Typically you would like lower carbs, but if they are up just make sure it's not from sugar and from other sources like mentioned above!

    Best of luck!

Thanks so much for all the responses. I have really been trying to eat as "clean" as possible the last few weeks. I'll not focus so much on the ratios and just keep eating lean sources of protein, fruits and veggies. Oh, I just started exercisiing this week with the 30 day shred challenge so I am hoping that helps a little also.

The limits I'm talking about are the MFP daily goal ratios. I just started exercising this week with the 30 day shred challenge. Maybe that will start the weight loss for me!
