Water Consumption

Do you count that you are drinking water when you add a mix into your water??? I add a fruit punch mix or a propel mix to my water. Should I count this at drinking water??

I count only pure water as water. So my coffee, tea, drink mixes, etc. get counted only for the calorie/sodium count in them. Not that I watch sodium with the amount I drink! LOL! So I get between 3 and 4 liters of pure water, PLUS all the other stuff I drink!

I don't put anything in my water, but if I did I would still put it as water. Just because you add something to it doesn't make it something else, it's still water.

I totally count water with ‘drink mixes’ as drinking water. I’d wouldn’t have any water on my diary if I didn’t….I usually don’t drink plain water (other than during/after a workout…I’ll drink plain ice water).

I have a 32 ounce water bottle that I keep right next to me on my desk at work. I drink it constantly (and go to the bathroom often! =D ) and I know that if I drink 2 bottles worth…I’ve got my water for the day (actually more than my 8 servings b/c there’s plenty of water in the food I eat as well). I generally don’t count coffee or tea as water intake.

I will almost always put 1 Crystal Light On-the Go packet into my 32 ounce water bottle. This is enough flavor for me and I think that one whole packet is waaaay too strong for a 16.9 ounce water bottle. I DO count the Crystal Light on my Diary though as there are like…10 calories per packet, but I also most definitely count it as water.
