Ok... Bit the bullet and so here it is in all it's glory...
![27a013da.jpg](http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg564/xlilmizcurvyx/27a013da.jpg)
Makes 4 good portions :
1 whole Marrow (about 1kg)
400g Lean minced (ground) beef
160g diced onion (Spanish)
100g diced carrot
100g chopped closed cup mushrooms
2 tablespoons mild curry powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1 tablespoon beef gravy granules
Fry the mince with the curry powder til browned, then add mushrooms, fry til done.
Fry onion and carrot with mixed herbs and parsley til softened.
Add mince to onion / carrot mix, add gravy granules and about 50ml water. Stir til well mixed.
Slice marrow lengthways, and scoop out inside seeds and fibres, leaving about 5-10mm thickness.
Fill marrow boats with mince mixture. Put in preheated oven Gas 5 for 90 mins covered with foil.
Remove foil and cook for another 15 mins, topped with grated cheese if liked ( and you got the cals for it!)
The way it is, 1 quarter is about 320 cals... And very filling.
