Hi. I’m Erik, and I live north of Seattle, in Washington State. I’ve been a stay-at-home dad, and worked part-time for the last 5 years.
I started MF in January, and I’ve been quite disciplined and successful so far. I tend to be a bit of a loner, and only accountable to myself in this process.
I’ve been limiting myself to 1400 calories a day, and I burn up to 1400 in the gym 6 days a week. I bust my *kitten* on the elliptical doing hills for 90 minutes.
As I creep up on losing 50 pounds, I think I need to take this this journey to the next level.
I will incorporate weight lifting into my workouts. I will change my cardio to HIIT. I plan on running a 10K before the end of May.
I have no idea how to do any of that (well, except the 10K).
What I’d like from you, yes you, reading this.
How do you lift? How much? Reps? Is there an iphone app?
Which HIIT programs do you use?
Will you be my friend (crap, that sounds pathetic)?
Do any of you use Runkeeper? I'd like friends on there also.
Downside of friending me: I don’t suffer BS well (you’re warned).
