NSV - High as a kite!!

I'm not one to brag about myself, because my lifestyle in the past has been certainly less than brag-worthy.... but since joining MFP I've had ups and downs on the scale, and have read daily everyone's victories, and upsets. But today I decided I wanted to post my own victory... me and the bicycle. We just went head-to-head, and I got 15 minutes in on that beast, not 5 mins and break and 5 mins and break and 5 final mins... I did them ALL at ONCE, and actually got my heart rate to 147 and kept it there for 8 minutes!! And I feel GREAT!! Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the bike, but I could only do 5 mins at a time, and I'd feel like death. Or so I thought. Mind over matter... gotta keep telling myself that I CAN DO IT... and I can. Oh my word, I truly do feel high as a kite!! I'll be back on that bike tonight and get in another 15. Or heck, maybe I'll tell myself that I can do 20 without a break??!! I think I can.... I KNOW I CAN!!

    It will start to get easier. Just keep it up. Remember people didn't gain weight in a day and you CANNOT lose it a day.

    Congrats!!! I know everytime you do a little better it makes you feel great. Pretty soon you will be doing 45 minutes. I find I compete against myself the most. If I am running and I want to stop, I tell meself that I did more that that far last week. It makes me keep going a little farther. Good Luck!

    Girl I know how you feel!! I got on a 2 wheel...non-stationary bike for the first time 2 weeks ago! I had not ridden one in who knows how long. Congrats on your victorious victory!!
