I teach elementary school. Our classroom is currently set up for state standardized testing, which means all the desks are separated from one another. During testing, I'm required to walk around the room and monitor the students. When we had a break today, I mentioned to the students that, as they move around, their desks kinda' move a bit, too. I asked them to please remember that I have to get these wide hips through the aisles, so please be aware of how close their desk is to their neighbors.

A student said, "So, we can get up kinda' close, cause your hips aren't as wide as they were at the beginning of the year."

Score!

That's really great, and it must be true because you know that they never sugar coat what they say...lol. (Unless they want something?)
