Where to Go Indoor Running

So I realized that if I'm running 3 days a week, I'm eventually going to run into a day with poor weather. I absolutely cannot afford to join a gym or fitness club right now, and the nearest mall that I could go to is 30 minutes away (and I would have to go stupid early, far earlier than I can handle). What would be the best indoor venue for me to scout out?

If it helps, I'm in New England, and more than 1/2 hour from any major cities. I would like to ideally find something within 10 minutes of my house. I know that without telling you the town I live in that's hard, but if you know of any sort of indoor arenas that are well-scattered through the New England area, I could look for one nearby.

In my area most of the local park district buildings have fitness centers with indoor walking/running tracks. It's inexpensive...I believe $2 or $3 for unlimited use of the track per day.

My local running store is awesome. In addition to being a shop, it's also sort of a runner's community center. Whenever I need ideas on where to run around town, I pop in and ask whoever is hanging around. They've never steered me wrong. So I'd say find your local running store and am around.

That's really cool. It's not a chain store, right, just a locally owned thing?

Yep, just a little family owned thing.

We are lucky to have a good community in town, so that's worth checking out. Any other suggestions from peeps?

I don't know how helpful this is, but can you explore workout DVDs to use at home when the weather is bad? I like to have a back-up of Jillian Michaels DVDs to use when I don't feel like going to the gym and being outside is not an option. And at $10 a pop, they are way better for my budget than saving up for a treadmill!

Well I'm doing Couch to 5K, so I was hoping to be able to find indoor places to run. I do actually do pilates or weights at home on my off days.
